Case details
Consumers across the Netherlands may have been affected by unfair pricing practices and a lack of transparency in energy contracts. Many customers were charged rates that were difficult to understand, with insufficient disclosure around how prices were calculated and adjusted over time.
The case focuses on whether energy suppliers failed to clearly communicate pricing structures, variable rates, and contract terms. As a result, customers may have paid more than expected without having the information needed to make informed decisions. This action seeks to hold suppliers accountable and recover damages for affected consumers.
